Initially I was very pleased with my collapsible walking pole which fitted easily into my luggage for my holiday in Crete where I hoped to do alot of walking. Unfortunately on its first day out the ferrule fell off without me noticing. Consequently left with a walking pole with a sharp point and irritating tapping sound as I walked. I am hoping that I will be able to get a replacement

I like the design as, when folded, the compact design fits the side pockets on my rucksack.
The poles worked fine for a few days then one of the elastic cords that runs through the core separated, rendering it useless as there's nothing holding the pole together. This occurred when the point got stuck in mud and I took a step forward, causing the pole to separate, leaving one section behind.
To prevent, what was to me a predictable event, some sort of twist-lock mechanism is needed to secure the two pole sections together.
Sadly I will be returning for a refund and looking for a replacement
